1. Position Title: Environmental Consultant
Location: Kampala, Uganda
About the Opportunity:
Working as part of our Consultancy Team, this position will complete a wide range of interesting and challenging environmental management projects across a range of sectors including resources, infrastructure, the built environment, energy and Industry among others. This will include, but is not limited to, environmental compliance advice and management, on-site environmental advice, auditing, closure planning, development and implementation of environmental management systems and plans, environmental permitting and assessment and management of specialist technical studies.

About you:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Environmental Consultant or Environmental Officer who has:
i)A degree in Environmental Science or Natural Resources Management
ii)Project experience, particularly related to the management and completion of environmental management and reporting projects including environmental review’s, preparation of environmental management plans, risk assessment facilitation, auditing, compliance management, closure planning and on-site environmental management roles.
iii)Strong people focus, with the ability to balance client, employee, business, and operational needs.
iv)Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments.
v)An ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders including clients, government agencies and councils.
vi)A high level of motivation and self-direction.
